ICEYE Open Data

ICEYE has unveiled an open data initiative for accessing SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) imagery. Data can be downloaded and used immediately, with no registration and no paywall.

There are three access routes.

• Open SAR Data Map Browser: Explore datasets on an interactive map, filtering by location, acquisition mode, and acquisition date.
• Open SAR Data STAC Browser: Browse metadata based on STAC, and download individual assets in standard geospatial formats such as SLC, GRD, and COG.
• Open SAR AWS Data Exchange: Access directly with S3 tools through the AWS Registry of Open Data, connecting straight into cloud workflows.

As an example dataset, imagery of SpaceX Starbase at Boca Chica State Park was introduced. ICEYE also shared SAR-related job openings for researchers, engineers, and builders.
