OpenSandbox Joins AAIF Project Under Linux Foundation

AAIF (Agentic AI Foundation) officially adopted OpenSandbox as a project, establishing agent infrastructure standards alongside MCP, A2A, and others

Technical Architecture and Features

Provides OpenAPI specification-based lifecycle, execution, diagnostics, and egress APIs to standardize communication between agents and runtimes
Adopts a security structure that replaces credentials within the sandbox with dummy values via Credential Vault and injects actual authentication headers at the egress sidecar
Supports template-based sandbox creation (create_from_template) from SDK 1.1.0 onward, managing the server, image, CLI, and SDK under a single version

Performance data measured in the Alibaba Cloud ACK environment is explicitly noted as being under warm cache conditions, not cold start states
