Odysseus - Self-Hosted AI Workspace

Odysseus is a Local-first integrated AI workspace designed to let you run the UI experience of ChatGPT or Claude directly on your own hardware.

Its key features are as follows:

• Chat: Easily connects with a variety of local models and APIs including vLLM, llama.cpp, Ollama, OpenRouter, and OpenAI.
• Agent: Provides agent functionality that autonomously carries out entire tasks using MCP, web, files, shell, skills, and memory.
• Deep Research: Gathers, reads, and synthesizes sources through multi-step execution to generate visual reports.
• Documents: A multi-tab editor where the user writes and AI assists, supporting Markdown, HTML, CSV, and more.
• Memory & Skills: Based on ChromaDB and vector/keyword search, the agent gradually understands the user's work and evolves.
• Other tools: Includes automatic email (IMAP/SMTP) sorting, notes and to-do lists, calendar (CalDAV) sync, and mobile (PWA) support.

It supports Docker as well as native execution on macOS/Windows, and is distributed under the MIT License.
