NVIDIA and LG Group Build AI Factory to Advance Physical AI, Mobility, and AI Infrastructure

NVIDIA and LG Group are building an AI Factory to accelerate next-generation AI businesses spanning robotics, autonomous driving, data center technology, and GPU cloud services. This collaboration combines NVIDIA's full-stack AI platform with LG Group's expertise in home appliances, robotics, mobility components, and data center technology to provide an integrated workflow for building physical AI systems.

In the physical AI and robotics field, the following collaborations are underway:

• LG Electronics: Uses NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, and Isaac GR00T to simulate and train home robots (CLoiD) and others in virtual environments. It is also developing a physical AI data factory through synthetic data generation based on NVIDIA Cosmos.
• LG Innotek: Provides advanced robotics components, including sensing solutions optimized for NVIDIA GPU architecture.
• LG CNS: Integrates NVIDIA's robotics technology into its PhysicalWorks platform to accelerate AI transformation in manufacturing and logistics sites.

For AI infrastructure development, the two companies are also expanding their collaboration on next-generation AI Factory infrastructure aligned with the NVIDIA DSX platform. LG Electronics will support rapid deployment of high-performance computing infrastructure through cooling solutions (CDU, cold plates) and prefabricated modular design technology, while LG Uplus and LG Energy Solution plan to build scalable, energy-efficient AI Factories based on NVIDIA DSX.
