LangSmith unveiled its personal assistant-style AI assistant Polly in full GA, and the existing Agent Builder was renamed LangSmith Fleet, adding agent identity, sharing, and permissions. The direction toward managing and deploying agents more safely at the team level has been strengthened.

Many new features were also added.

• Skills were added to Fleet, allowing teams to give their agents specialized task knowledge.
• LangSmith Sandboxes launched in Private Preview, offering temporary isolated environments for code execution and fine-grained resource control.
• The LangGraph Deploy CLI was added to the langgraph-cli package, enabling one-step deployment to LangSmith Deployment from the terminal.
• ABAC and Audit Logs were added, letting enterprise admins handle tag-based access control and change history tracking via API.

On the open-source side, langgraph v1.1 was released, including type-safe streaming, type-safe invoke, and Pydantic/dataclass coercion, while deepagents v0.5.0 alpha included async subagents, multi-modal support, backend changes, and improved Anthropic prompt caching. The OSS ecosystem's first skills were also unveiled.

Events and content were also announced. Interrupt 2026 will be held May 13–14 in San Francisco, featuring case studies from Clay, Rippling, and Honeywell, along with keynotes from Harrison Chase, Jensen Huang, and Andrew Ng. Along with news of a New York workshop, Google Cloud Next, and community meetups in Miami and Buenos Aires, agent harness architecture, Open SWE, and a case study of LangChain building a GTM agent were also included as this month's key reads.

The most notable customer and integration news is the collaboration with NVIDIA. LangChain is providing an enterprise agentic AI platform together with NVIDIA, and has also joined the Nemotron Coalition to support the advancement of open models.
