From Open Source to CEO of Continue: My Journey

I joined Continue as its new CEO. The progression from user to advisor, and now to executive, happened naturally through solving problems together with the team.

The Continue team I met at an Ollama meetup in August 2023 was focused on solving real problems rather than simply expanding features, embodied in their slogan "Task, not Tab Complete." This distinction became the decisive reason I was drawn to Continue.

After switching from a molecular biology major to software engineering, I realized the importance of developer tools through open-source projects like TinyOS. I later led the 'Kitchen' team at Cloudera, where I confirmed that platform engineering and Developer Experience (DevEx) are key factors in building high-performing companies.

Building on this technical background and insight into development environments, I plan to lead Continue's next phase of growth.
