A Record of Sponsoring DEF CON 33 CTF with Team Cold Fusion

KakaoBank sponsored Cold Fusion, a Korean coalition team participating in DEF CON CTF, the world's most prestigious hacking defense competition. Beyond simple financial support, KakaoBank considered practical support from a DevRel (Developer Relations) perspective so that team members could fully immerse themselves in the competition and feel a sense of pride.

Key support included producing goods embodying the team's identity (hoodies, T-shirts, USB hubs, etc.) and supporting the operation of an on-site hideout. Through this, KakaoBank aimed to break down the boundary between sponsor and participant and build a partnership moving toward a common goal.

In addition, send-off ceremonies held in Seoul and Pangyo strengthened the team's cohesion, and on-site in Las Vegas, KakaoBank focused on creating an environment where the team could concentrate on the competition in top condition.
