Kakao Reveals Over 50 Tech Sessions and Multimodal AI Cases on Day 3 of if(kakao)dev 2022

On the third day of the if(kakao)dev 2022 developer conference, Kakao streamed two developer keynotes and previews for six tracks, followed by the sequential release of over 50 tech sessions.

Key Announcements

Sang-min Seo, CKO of Crust Universe, introduces the essence of blockchain and the technical challenges Klaytn is addressing from a blockchain perspective. Il-du Kim, CEO of Kakao Brain, showcases multimodal AI use cases, including the image-generation AI artist Karlo and an AI CAD for medical image reading. He also announced plans to contribute to the AI research environment by releasing Coyo, a high-quality large-scale dataset.

Session Release Schedule and Scale

After the preview videos for the six tech tracks (AI_2, BlockChain, Cloud, BackEnd_2, Data, General) conclude, over 58 tech sessions from those tracks will be released via the official site. This serves as a platform to share the challenges Kakao has faced and its technical know-how over the past year.

Around lunchtime today, a total of 118 tech sessions, 8 keynotes, and 9 track preview videos are scheduled to be fully released. Sessions already released can be viewed on the conference's official site and YouTube playlist, and speakers plan to respond quickly to viewer inquiries.
