Kakao Reveals 7 Sessions on Cloud-Native and K8s Operations at if(kakao)2021

Kakao has revealed seven cloud-related technical sessions for developers at the if(kakao)2021 conference. Key presentations include the pros and cons of cloud-native transformation and the background of kakao 9rum cloud portal integration, changes to the CI/CD system of the private cloud IaaS platform Krane, and experiences with cluster lifecycle management via the Kubernetes Live Upgrade API.

In the data processing domain, an optimized migration case of Hadoop cluster data accumulated over 12 years and a platform operator for processing real-time logs by deploying Flink on Kubernetes will be presented. Additionally, an Event Stream-based architecture for cloud standard event formats and inter-service integration, as well as experiences building a Redis cluster on Kubernetes, will be discussed.
