The Kakao Cloud Platform Team is responsible for building the IaaS, PaaS, SaaS infrastructure that supports the development of all Kakao services, including KakaoTalk, Melon, and Daum. The team's core goal is to perform "development for development" to help developers create better software.

Flexible Development Environment and Automation

The Cloud Platform Team develops infrastructure capable of stably handling large-scale traffic while fostering a developer-friendly culture. Personal development environments (sandboxes) are automated for each service, allowing developers to configure small-scale production environments and flexibly test and develop on their own workstations. Additionally, automated testing is applied to all products to ensure the safe deployment of new code to production.

This year, the team's vision has been set as 'Programmable Connection with Business and IT Services'. Through this, the team supports the creation, operation, and analysis of business applications in the cloud, covering areas such as business application clouds, maintenance, experience analysis, data management, and connected clouds.
