Replit Agent Launches Image Generation Feature: Turning Ideas into Pixels

Replit Agent has launched an AI-powered Image Generation feature that goes beyond coding and deployment, allowing users to generate images directly within their projects. Now users can instantly turn ideas into in-app assets through chat alone, without needing separate design software or searching for stock images.

The image generation process is very intuitive:

• The user describes the desired image.
• Agent generates the image and saves it directly to the project.
• The prompt can be modified to instantly adjust style or color.

The key use cases are as follows:

• Logos and icons: Creating modern logos or app icons
• Backgrounds: Gradients and background images for websites
• Game sprites: Pixel-art style characters and objects
• UI illustrations: Characters for empty-states, etc.

The usage method is simple. In a Replit project, click Agent Tools and then enable Image Generation. The entire process is chat-based, and style and color can be freely adjusted.

Under the new Effort-Based pricing model, each image generation costs about $0.04, enabling users to quickly generate and deploy a variety of assets at low cost.
