Replit Introduces Multiplayer AI Chat Feature

Replit has introduced multiplayer functionality to its AI Chat product to maximize the efficiency of development workflows. Users can now create, manage, and collaborate on multiple persistent chat sessions.

Key updates include the following:

• Multi-session chat and persistence: Tasks with different purposes, such as code explanation, code generation, and debugging, can be managed as separate threads. This allows users to maintain task context while developing in an organized manner.
• Collaboration and multiplayer: The multiplayer functionality of the Replit IDE has been extended to the AI chat window. Team members share the same AI chat session, using AI as a member of the team to ask questions and collaborate together.
• Session management and chat regeneration: When regenerating AI responses or changing models, users can freely switch between and review previous responses. The system intelligently selects and delivers the most appropriate context for follow-up questions.
