Repl.it Launches User Profile Feature

Repl.it is introducing a new user profile feature to give proper credit to the creative work of its community members.

The key changes are as follows:

• User Profiles: Users can set a photo, bio, website and social media links, and affiliated institution. Profile photos default to Gravatar.
• Creator Display: The creator's name and photo are displayed in the top left of every repl editor, making it easy to identify the creator when sharing.

Additionally, repls are intelligently ranked based on various metrics such as metadata and view counts, so that valuable work rises to the top.

Through this expansion of community features, Repl.it plans to focus on building a friendly and inclusive community.
