Lyria 3 Pro: Longer Track Generation Across More Google Products

Google has introduced Lyria 3 Pro, an upgraded version of its music generation model Lyria 3. This model can generate tracks up to 3 minutes long, and is notable for its sophisticated understanding and control of musical structural elements such as intro, verse, chorus, and bridge.

Lyria 3 Pro is being integrated into a variety of Google services, including:

• Vertex AI: Available in public preview to help enterprises generate audio at scale, such as producing soundtracks for games.
• Google AI Studio and Gemini API: Supports musical structure and flexibility to help developers build creative tools.
• Google Vids: Offers customized music generation features for Google Workspace and Gemini subscribers.
• Gemini app: Supports longer track generation and detailed customization features for paid subscribers.
• ProducerAI: Provides an agentic experience to help artists and producers iteratively refine their songs.

Google is collaborating with music professionals through the Music AI Sandbox, and is responsibly developing the technology so that AI can serve as a tool that helps creators express themselves.
