The reason the engineer decided to switch careers was the importance of Documentation. Documentation requires as much energy and time as software development, and continuous maintenance is essential, but in practice it is often not properly handled.

Working as a technical writer, the goal shifted from 'working software' to 'easy-to-understand content'. However, the essential purpose of helping users achieve their goals remains the same.

Technical writers use various media beyond writing, including video and newsletters. In particular, they can leverage engineering capabilities to increase their value by developing applications for documentation automation or content processing.

Major projects include Cargo, an automation service for engineers, and DevTalk, an internal broadcasting platform, through which the writer established their identity as a technical writer.
