Perplexity Computer Used in Slack

Perplexity Computer is an AI orchestrator that manages a team of AI agents on the user's behalf. It uses Claude Code and GPT Codex to perform coding, conduct deep research, and coordinate various tools through more than 400 connectors.

The tool has already proven its strong performance. During its first two weeks of limited launch, it delivered about $91 million in cost savings for Perplexity Max subscribers, and to date has performed work equivalent to $776 million worth of labor value for enterprise and pro users.

Its integration with Slack maximizes collaboration efficiency. Users can tag @Computer in shared channels to create public workflows, or use direct messages (DMs) for drafting and personal research. All requests, context, and outputs are kept within Slack threads, enabling seamless review and collaboration among team members.
