GStack: YouTube Introduces AI Coding Agent Framework Made by Y Combinator CEO

GStack, released by Garry Tan, is a skill pack that turns Claude Code from a simple code generator into something used like a virtual team where a CEO, designer, engineer, and QA all work together.

• With a thin shell, thick skills philosophy, it runs without a separate runtime, using only markdown-based instructions and Claude Code's slash commands.
• 23 skills are chained together in a think -> plan -> build -> review -> test -> deploy -> retro flow.
• Office Hours validates ideas and business viability, while adversarial review catches gaps like failure handling, privacy, and 2FA handoffs.
• It supports 8 AI coding agents including Claude Code, OpenAI Codex CLI, Cursor, and OpenCode, performing cross-model review via /codex and automating Playwright-based browser QA and regression test generation via /qa.
• It separates parallel sessions using worktrees, and offers a ./setup --team team installation mode along with an MIT license.

It reportedly earned more GitHub stars than Ruby on Rails within 3 weeks of release, and is said to currently have 70,000+ stars. Garry Tan also stated that he accomplished in 60 days what previously took 2 years, 10 people, and $10 million.
