Owning vs. Renting Intelligence

Recently, Mythos made headlines by shutting down its service. Regardless of whether this decision was right or wrong, the core lesson is that it shows how vulnerable a business built on Intelligence it cannot directly control can be.

Relying solely on external APIs without owning proprietary models or infrastructure carries the risk that an entire business model could collapse in an instant due to a vendor's decisions or policy changes.
