Claude Code Now Supports Artifacts

Now Claude Code can capture your work process as Artifacts, real-time shareable visual pages. These include PR walkthroughs, system documentation, dashboards, release checklists, and more, with content automatically updating as the session progresses.

Artifacts are generated by leveraging the codebase, connectors, and conversation context all together. For example, during an incident investigation, a single page can integrate the failing test code, related functions, the error spike from monitoring tools, and the analyzed root cause. Pages can be created just from a request, without connecting separate data sources or building infrastructure.

Key features include the following:

• Real-time updates: When Claude Code updates an Artifact, the open page refreshes instantly, allowing team members to see changes in real time.
• Version control: Every post is saved as a new version within the same link, and version history lets you revert to a previous state at any time.
• Security and privacy: All Artifacts are private to the author by default, and can be shared only with authenticated organization members, keeping them secure.

They can be used across various roles, including developers, security professionals, and SREs. Complex tasks such as code-based license audits, data flow maps, cloud resource maps, and UX variant design proposals can be instantly turned into visual outputs.
