Anthropic Unveils Claude Tag

Anthropic has introduced Claude Tag, a new way to support team-based collaboration. This service can join a Slack channel as a team member, and when a user grants permissions to a specific channel, it accesses the data and codebase within the channel to carry out tasks.

The key features of Claude Tag are as follows:

• Multiplayer: All team members in a channel interact with the same Claude, which carries forward the context of previous conversations to enable collaboration.
• Context Learning: It continuously learns information within the channel, grasping work context without needing to be explained from scratch every time.
• Proactive Initiative: When the 'Ambient' feature is enabled, it acts proactively, such as surfacing relevant information first or tracking unresolved threads.
• Asynchronous Work: While the user focuses on other tasks, it plans its own work and autonomously carries out projects over hours or days.

A beta version is currently available to Claude Enterprise and Team customers. Admins can finely control tool and data access permissions, and can manage security and cost through token usage limits and the ability to check work logs.
