Claude Integrations for Creative Tools

Anthropic unveiled a set of Claude integrations for creative work together with Blender, Adobe, Autodesk, Ableton, Splice, and others. The core idea is to let creators use Claude directly within the tools they already use, to help with brainstorming, reduce repetitive work, and cut down on switching between tools.

The new integrations are designed around each tool's role.

• Ableton: Answers based on official Live and Push documentation.
• Adobe for creativity: Leverages 50+ tools across Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Premiere, and Express.
• Affinity by Canva: Automates repetitive tasks such as batch image adjustments, renaming layers, and exporting files.
• Autodesk Fusion: Creates and modifies 3D models through conversation.
• Blender: Handles the Python API through natural language and analyzes and debugs complex scenes.
• Resolume Arena/Wire: Controls live performances and AV production in real time.
• SketchUp: Turns rooms, furniture, and site concepts into starting points for 3D models.
• Splice: Searches royalty-free samples within Claude.

The scope of use is broad as well. Claude Code can be used to build scripts, plugins, and generative systems, and to automate format conversion and data syncing between design, 3D, and audio tools. Claude Design is built to help explore ideas and export results to Canva.

In particular, the Blender integration is provided as an official feature based on MCP, enabling scene analysis and debugging, writing scripts for batch changes, and even adding new tools to the Blender UI. Anthropic has become a patron of the Blender Development Fund, and is also providing Claude and the new integrations to related programs at Rhode Island School of Design, Ringling College of Art and Design, and Goldsmiths, University of London.
