Nimbalyst, a Visual Workspace for AI Coding Agents, Released

Nimbalyst is an open-source visual workspace that lets you manage terminal-based coding agents in a desktop environment.

Key features include:

• Visual editing and management: In addition to code, you can visually edit Markdown, CSV, Mermaid diagrams, Excalidraw drawings, Prisma data models, and more.
• Workflow optimization: All of an agent's changes are shown as inline diffs that users can approve or reject, and a kanban board tracks session status.
• Parallel task support: Git worktree isolation enables running multiple sessions simultaneously.
• Extensibility: A custom editor marketplace allows extensions for various file formats.

The tool supports macOS, Windows, Linux, and iOS, and is offered under the MIT license, making it free for individual users. Support for OpenCode and Copilot is currently provided at the alpha stage.
