Show HN: Airbyte Agents - Context for agents spanning multiple data sources

Airbyte has launched an initial version of Airbyte Agents. Centered on a Context Store that pre-replicates data from multiple SaaS and operational systems, it lets agents first search and discover data rather than stitching together APIs one by one at runtime, then perform direct read/write operations on the source systems when needed.

• There are three ways to use it: Airbyte Agent MCP, Agent SDK, and Automations.
• It starts with 50 production-ready connectors, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Linear, and Slack.
• Some connectors support write actions, enabling record updates, ticket creation, and message posting.

Using a benchmark harness it has released, Airbyte says token usage is reduced compared to existing vendor MCPs.

• Gong: up to 80% reduction
• Zendesk: up to 90% reduction
• Linear: up to 75% reduction
• Salesforce: up to 16% reduction

The product is presented as an extension of Airbyte's data replication and ETL capabilities, described as layering an agent context layer on top of its open-source data movement foundation.
