xAI has launched 21 new flagship voices in addition to the existing 5 voices. The newly added voices are designed for different use cases such as support, character, narration, advertising, and education.
The new voices are immediately available through the Grok Voice Agent API, Text to Speech API, and Grok Voice Agent Builder. All new voices are native multilingual models supporting the 25+ languages that Grok Voice supports.
In addition, the previously available Ara, Eve, Leo, Rex, and Sal voices have also been updated. A new training method has been applied, making speaking speed, phrasing, and emphasis more natural.
Users can build custom voice agents using Voice Agent Builder in the xAI Console, and a feature to clone your own voice using about 1 minute of audio is also provided.
