Prodigy-HF Released: Integrated Support for HF Models

Prodigy-HF, a plugin that directly connects Explosion's data annotation tool Prodigy with the Hugging Face ecosystem, has been unveiled.

Key features are as follows:

• Direct Hugging Face model training: Using labeled data, transformer models such as BERT can be fine-tuned instantly from the command line.
• Model-assisted annotation support: A trained model can be loaded into the interface to check predictions while working, making the process more efficient.
• Dataset Hub upload: Completed datasets can be published directly to the Hugging Face Hub for sharing and collaboration.

This integration is expected to significantly shorten the data building and model iteration process for developing domain-specific models.
