Plano Unveils Signals V2

Plano has unveiled Signals v2, an LLM-free analyzer.

This feature scores live agent trajectories and attaches the results to existing OpenTelemetry spans as structured heuristic attributes. No separate model calls or additional infrastructure are needed.

The detection scope is as follows.

• Covers interaction, execution, and environment broadly.
• Catches misalignment, looping, escalation, tool failures, and context exhaustion with 20 leaf detectors.

In configurations that proxy Plano traffic, Signals is automatically included, and documentation and a research paper have also been released together.
