Fleet's New Feature: Deploy AI Agents to Slack in One Click

LangChain has unveiled a new feature for Fleet that allows team members to use custom AI agents instantly within Slack without disrupting their workflow. Now, without writing any code, you can build specialized agents optimized for your company's way of working, using only natural language.

Unlike general-purpose chatbots such as ChatGPT, Fleet agents are designed to consistently perform specific tasks. Users can give agents specialized roles by granting them the skills, context, and system permissions they need.

• Easy building: You can create agents by describing your goals in natural language, or by using pre-built templates such as Executive Assistant.
• Slack integration: Agents can be deployed to Slack with a single click, and each agent has its own independent identity with a unique name, description, and icon.
• Optimized for collaboration: If an agent needs additional information or approval while performing a task, it can ask questions or request approval directly within the Slack thread.
• Powerful control features: Administrators can finely configure access permissions, credential usage scope, and cost limits on a per-agent basis to manage security and budget.
