Skills Night: Over 69,000 Ways to Make Agents Smarter

skills.sh is an open skills ecosystem that delivers developers' accumulated knowledge for agents to use immediately. Going beyond a simple document repository, it functions as a package manager that supplies agents with the context they need. It is now growing rapidly, with more than 69,000 skills and over 2 million CLI installations recorded.

To respond to the security threats that come with ecosystem expansion, partnerships have been formed with Socket, Gen, and Snyk. Every skill undergoes a security audit including static analysis and real-time monitoring, protecting users from risks such as data leaks or prompt injection.

Skills effectively solve the Training Cutoff problem in LLMs. According to experiments, even when a model doesn't know the latest API information, providing appropriate context through skills allowed it to implement accurate code. In other words, delivering the right context is as critical as the model's intelligence itself.

Agents have now reached a level where they can drive an entire development stack. In Expo's case, Claude Code and Expo skills were used to automate everything from generating SwiftUI components to updating native iOS features.
