AWS Weekly Roundup: NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super on Amazon Bedrock, Nova Forge SDK, Amazon Corretto 26, and more (March 23, 2026)

Amazon Redshift boosted performance for new, uncached queries in dashboard and ETL workloads by up to 7x. It reduces latency for first-run queries, improving both dashboard responsiveness and ETL processing speed.

NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super is now available on Amazon Bedrock, and the Nova Forge SDK has made it simpler to customize Amazon Nova models for enterprise data. On top of this, the general availability of Amazon Corretto 26 means Java developers can now take advantage of the latest language features and performance/security improvements within a long-term support framework.

Updates continued in operations and observability as well. AWS Lambda now provides metadata on which Availability Zone a running function is executing in, and Amazon CloudWatch Logs now supports log ingestion via HTTP-based protocol. On the large-scale infrastructure side, Amazon EKS added a 99.99% SLA and a new 8XL scaling tier for Provisioned Control Plane, targeting workloads such as AI/ML, HPC, and large-scale data processing.

Also featured were Kiro for students, performance results on agent accuracy from Strands Steering Hooks, the badge feature on AWS Builder Center, posts highlighting community learning, and upcoming events such as AWS Summit, AWS Community Days, and the AWSome Women Summit LATAM. The key takeaway this week is that updates spanning the expansion of generative AI models, improvements to data/operations features, and community and event news were all bundled together across the AWS ecosystem.
