Cursor removed cost information from the Usage page and CSV export

As Cursor rolled out changes, it removed the dollar-based Spend metric and Cost column from the Usage page for self-serve plans (Individual and Teams) and began displaying usage centered on token counts.

Cost information has also disappeared from the Usage CSV. Cursor explained that usage included in the plan is now shown as token counts and Included, and only on-demand usage that is actually billed as extra shows a dollar amount in the Cost column.

The current ways to check costs, as guided by Cursor, are as follows.

• Dashboard > Spending: check the on-demand total for the current billing cycle
• Dashboard > Usage > Export CSV: check the cost of on-demand usage
• Teams admins: check per-user on-demand totals at Dashboard > Members > On-Demand

However, self-serve Teams and Individual plans currently do not provide a dollar cost breakdown by user or by model. Cursor stated that the previous dollar display on Individual plans caused confusion by making the estimated cost of included usage appear higher than the actual plan price, and that this change is an intentional design decision. Enterprise plans continue to display dollar amounts as before.
