Stability AI and EA Sign Partnership to Drive Game Development Innovation for Artists and Developers

Stability AI and Electronic Arts (EA) have signed a strategic partnership to jointly develop generative AI models, tools, and workflows that can reimagine the way games are made. Through this collaboration, artists and developers will be able to experience faster iteration and expanded creative possibilities.

The two companies plan to leverage 3D Volumetric Generative Media technology in particular to support rapid prototyping and visual storytelling. Key initiatives include:

• Accelerating PBR (Physically Based Rendering) material generation: Building 2D texture generation workflows that maintain color and light accuracy across environments.
• 3D environment previsualization: Previsualizing entire 3D environments through prompts, giving artists precise control over content creation.

Building on proven technologies such as Stable Fast 3D, TripoSR, and Stable Zero123, Stability AI plans to integrate professional AI solutions into EA's creative workflows.
