Leagues Cup Kicks Off August 4, All Matches Streaming on Apple TV

The Leagues Cup kicks off on August 4 U.S. time. 18 clubs each from MLS and Liga MX will participate, and Apple TV subscribers will be able to watch all 62 matches in more than 100 countries and regions.

Now in its 4th edition, the tournament is structured so that matchups between clubs from the two leagues are guaranteed through the quarterfinals. For the first time ever, 4 Phase One matches will also be held in Mexico.

Participating clubs will compete for the Leagues Cup trophy as well as 3 berths in the 2027 CONCACAF Champions Cup. The champion advances directly to the Round of 16 of the CONCACAF Champions Cup, and the runner-up and third-place team also earn berths.

Defending champion Seattle Sounders will face Toluca FC on August 5 as it looks to defend its title. World-class players such as Antoine Griezmann, Robert Lewandowski, and Casemiro will also make their Leagues Cup debuts in this tournament.

Apple TV will offer English, Spanish, and French commentary depending on the region of availability, along with exclusive on-demand content and free programming. The English programs are Leagues Cup Countdown and Leagues Cup Wrap-Up, and the Spanish programs are Leagues Cup La Previa and Leagues Cup El Resumen.

Fans can check live scores, stats, standings, match schedules, play-by-play updates, and visualized lineups on Apple Sports, a free app for iPhone. Apple Music's warm-up playlists curated by MLS players and Apple Maps guides are also offered as ways to enjoy the Leagues Cup and North American soccer culture.
