Introducing Scheduled Tasks 2.0

Scheduled Tasks 2.0 expands recurring tasks beyond simple time scheduling to include execution context as well. Now tasks can not only run on daily/weekly cycles, but can also continue within the same task or inherit shared settings from a Project.

The core change is that recurring work no longer splits off into a new independent task, but keeps being updated while retaining existing conversations, files, instructions, and past results. This fits better for cases like dashboards, reports, and summaries where a single output needs to be continuously updated.

The feature scope has also expanded.

• Scheduled actions can be added to web apps to automate data refreshes, script execution, dashboard updates, reminders, and summary generation.
• The side panel, schedule view, and calendar view let you track upcoming and past runs, and jump directly to the related task from a run card.
• The editing screen lets you adjust prompts, timing, and advanced settings all at once, and choose whether to continue in the same task or split into a separate task.
• You can finely customize the execution environment by combining skip confirmations, connectors, agents, Project, and cloud computer.

Manus stated that Scheduled Tasks 2.0 is available to all users.
