Lophius Releases LLM Research Workbench

A developer from Heretic has released Lophius, a code and GUI integrated language model research workbench that runs within Jupyter notebooks.

The following tasks can be performed with minimal setup:

• Analysis of models, architectures, and configurations
• Tokenizer inspection and prompt management
• Inference and chat
• Analysis of logits, entropy, attention scores, and hidden states

During inference, GPU memory is automatically managed, and output signals can be lazy-loaded for later review. Official documentation and tutorials are provided, and it is mentioned that it may be used as a backend for Heretic in the future.
