OpenAI is expanding the Daybreak Cyber Partner Program to integrate its advanced cyber models into the products and security operations of security and service partners worldwide. This enables more organizations to identify critical vulnerabilities, validate actual risk levels, and remediate them rapidly.

AI is enabling attackers to identify vulnerabilities, develop exploits, and compromise complex systems faster and at greater scale. Meanwhile, defenders face an expanding attack surface across software and infrastructure, struggling to determine which issues pose real threats and to apply fixes in production environments.

Daybreak partners leverage their expertise in customer systems and security operations to integrate OpenAI’s cyber models into existing workflows. Supported areas include:

• Vulnerability discovery and validation
• Red teaming and penetration testing
• Incident response
• Vulnerability remediation in complex enterprise systems

Participating companies include security and service firms such as Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, Cognizant, EY, KPMG, PwC, NCC Group, SpecterOps, and technology companies such as Palo Alto Networks Unit 42, CrowdStrike, Cisco, Sophos, Akamai, Fortinet, Cloudflare. OpenAI plans to combine these partners’ security expertise, customer relationships, and governance capabilities with its cyber models to accelerate the pace from vulnerability discovery to remediation.
