100 Things Announced at I/O 2026

Gemini 3.5 Flash is the starting point of this announcement. It's available right away in Google Antigravity, the agent-centric development platform, as well as in the Gemini API, AI Studio, and Android Studio, and Google touted its benchmark performance including Terminal-Bench 2.1 76.2%, GDPval-AA 1656 Elo, and MCP Atlas 83.6%. Search has been reorganized around AI Mode. Having surpassed 1 billion monthly users, AI Mode is switching its default model worldwide to Gemini 3.5 Flash, and with the biggest Search box redesign in 25 years, it now jointly interprets text, images, files, video, and Chrome tabs. Personal Intelligence connects to Gmail, Google Photos, and soon Calendar to incorporate personal context, and is expanding to nearly 200 countries and 98 languages. Users can choose for themselves whether to connect these.

Key additional features include the following.

• Information agents, which continuously monitor the web along with real-time financial, shopping, and sports data, will open to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers this summer.
• Generative UI, which turns complex questions into dashboards or interactive screens, will be rolled out for free in Search this summer.
• Universal Cart and UCP, which combine price tracking, stock alerts, compatibility checks, and payment into a single flow, will be applied to Search and the Gemini app this summer, with YouTube and Gmail to follow.

The Gemini app is getting a Gemini Spark, Daily Brief, and Neural Expressive design overhaul.

• Gemini Spark is an early version starting with trusted testers, with a beta for US Ultra subscribers opening next week.
• Daily Brief analyzes your inbox, calendar, and tasks overnight to summarize your day.
• Neural Expressive foregrounds fluid animation, vivid colors, new typography, and haptics.
