Oliveyoung Payment Method Integration, It's This Simple!

The Oliveyoung Order & Payment Squad introduced two new payment methods through API integration to enhance customer payment convenience.

First, Oliveyoung Hyundai Card Rewards was implemented so that rewards earned when using the PLCC (Private Label Credit Card) can be immediately used and deducted during the order process. Additionally, for mobile gift certificates, a system was built to flexibly use the balance through a random number input method.

The integration process proceeded through the following steps.

• API Provision and Documentation Review: Securing API specifications for each payment method from external systems
• Security and Authentication: Including the authentication key in the Authorization header using Basic Authentication
• Order Form Integration: Transmitting JSON data via HttpClientUtil to handle balance inquiries and payment processing
• Status Management: Implementing follow-up processing based on payment success/failure responses and Rollback logic for payment cancellations

Through this integration, features such as available balance inquiry, amount usage, amount cancellation, and inquiry of amounts scheduled to expire are provided, establishing a structure focused on securing reward-driven revenue and encouraging repeat visits.
