Existing natural language-to-SQL models must infer database schemas, table joins, filters, and timestamps, which can lead to inconsistent results for the same question or AI hallucinations. Looker's semantic layer reduces this guesswork by providing context on business metrics and data relationships.

Users can query both structured databases and unstructured documents in natural language through a single chat interface in Gemini Enterprise. This enables users to connect key metrics with real-world business context for analysis and decision-making without switching between dashboards and documents.

Additionally, Looker analysts and administrators can publish Looker's conversational agents directly into the Gemini Enterprise environment via the Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol. Organizations can provide trusted tools based on real-time analytics, improving agent discoverability and adoption among users.
