Partnership with CodeAI to Prepare the First AI Generation

Today's students are the first generation growing up with AI, yet they still lack the ability to understand how AI works and evaluate it critically. In response, OpenAI and CodeAI announced a new partnership to help students use and leverage AI responsibly.

This partnership coincides with the launch of ChatGPT for Teens, designed specifically for adolescents. The service focuses on learning, helping teens think critically about AI and use it confidently, while also including safety protections and additional parental controls.

Over the next year, both companies will operate the following practical programs:

• Establishment of a Joint Advisory Committee: Experts in child development and learning sciences will come together to guide responsible AI innovation and educational needs.
• Building AI Literacy: Introducing the fundamentals of AI to millions of students through Hour of AI.
• Builders Challenge: Providing high school students with opportunities to create projects using AI and receive mentorship from the OpenAI team.
