CC 2.1.146: Multi-Agent Orchestration

At the core of the CC 2.1.146 update is the introduction of the Workflow tool, which supports Deterministic multi-subagent orchestration. This enables precise control over script metadata, agent hooks, pipeline and parallel control flow, token budget management, concurrency limits, and more.

Key changes include:

• Agent output optimization: Prompts have been improved so that subagents immediately return Raw text or Structured Output without unnecessary markdown or confirmation messages.
• Plan mode enhancement: A 4-stage planning guide has been added, including actionable details and end-to-end verification steps.
• Enhanced Managed Agents onboarding: A Pre-flight viability check is now mandatory, which sets success criteria and confirms tools, credentials, and data mounts in advance.
• Security monitoring: Security has been strengthened by clearly distinguishing user questions from direct intent regarding autonomous agent actions.
