FuriosaAI Expands Its Ecosystem

Upstage and FuriosaAI have signed a joint development and sales agreement to expand the AI ecosystem. They will jointly develop a solution combining hardware and software by optimizing Upstage's AI Pack for FuriosaAI's AI semiconductor Warboy.

This collaboration marks Upstage's first partnership with Korea's AI semiconductor industry. The two companies plan to adapt AI Pack not only for Warboy but also for the next-generation chip currently in development, and to jointly develop an integrated OCR solution to expand enterprise adoption.

AI Pack is a one-stop no-code/low-code service that bundles OCR for extracting information from images, natural language processing search for finding semantically similar information, and recommendation technology that reflects customer information and product characteristics.

Upstage supports data processing, AI modeling, and continuous updates, making it easy for companies to use the latest AI technology. The two companies also plan to pursue joint sales of the solutions they develop, aiming to accelerate enterprises' AI transformation.
