Upstage discusses strengthening AI ethics and trustworthiness with the Ministry of Science and ICT

Upstage was selected as the first company for the Ministry of Science and ICT's 'Visit to Leading Companies for Spreading AI Ethics and Trustworthiness' program, where it shared its technical experience in securing AI ethics and trustworthiness.

At the event, Upstage's key AI solutions were introduced:

• Document AI Pack: Combines OCR and NLP technology to perform text conversion, extraction, analysis, and summarization of documents, and is being used in the finance and industrial sectors.
• AskUp Seargest: A solution that combines search and recommendation technology to provide hyper-personalized information in a chat format.

To mitigate hallucination, a major issue with generative AI, Upstage introduced the '? Search' feature for the first time in Korea. It is also making multifaceted efforts to secure AI ethics and trustworthiness, including masking personal information in text and refusing output for inappropriate image generation requests.
