Improve Collaboration and Organization Management with LangSmith Workspaces

LangChain has introduced Workspace functionality in LangSmith, allowing users and resources within an organization to be logically grouped. This enables clear separation of resources across multiple teams, business units, and deployment environments, enhancing productivity and security.

Workspaces manage resources such as trace projects, datasets, annotation queues, and prompts to belong to a single workspace. While existing workflows are maintained, if multiple workspaces exist, you must explicitly select the workspace in which to work. Personal organizations are limited to one default workspace, while shared organizations can create multiple workspaces and invite users.

Enterprise Plan users can create up to 10 workspaces by default, with the ability to increase this limit if needed. This allows for the isolation of sensitive data access and fine-grained control over various projects. Additionally, it integrates with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to precisely manage user permissions per workspace. API keys are scoped to the workspace in which they are created, and the method for calculating billing sheet counts remains unchanged.
