Sapient Releases Agent Framework

Following the development of the HRM architecture, Sapient Intelligence has unveiled a new project, PRAXIST. This approach demonstrates maximizing performance by building an optimized architecture (harness) around LLMs, rather than simply scaling the models.

PRAXIST supports autonomous R&D agents in the process of writing, executing, and improving executable artifacts. Unlike existing systems that handle each attempt independently, making root cause tracing difficult, PRAXIST converts evaluation results into an evidence graph and lane-structured frontiers to derive improvements in a verifiable manner.

The licensing policy is open-source, but companies with annual revenue exceeding 1 million USD must purchase a commercial license. This reflects confidence that the project can generate a return on investment (ROI) relative to actual R&D spending.
