Vercel AI Gateway Offers 50% Discount on MiniMax H3 and H3 Max Models

Vercel AI Gateway, in partnership with MiniMax, is running a 50% discount promotion for the MiniMax H3 and H3 Max models. The discount period runs from August 30 to September 13 and applies to all requests billed through AI Gateway.

The discount applies to all video durations and aspect ratios supported by the models. Key features of the two models are as follows:

• MiniMax H3: Generates 2K resolution videos from text prompts, starting images, first and last frame pairs, or reference images, videos, and audio.
• MiniMax H3 Max: Prioritizes speed over resolution, rendering faster at 480p and 768p. It accepts text prompts or starting images as input.

Since the model IDs (minimax/minimax-h3, minimax/minimax-h3-max) remain unchanged, existing requests will automatically receive the discounted rates without any code modifications. As video generation takes time, it is recommended to use the poll option to handle it as a background job and check for completion via repeated short status requests in an asynchronous manner.
