Rakazo Launches Self-Hosted AI Team Platform

Rakazo is an open-source AI teammate platform that allows users to self-host by directly selecting models and execution environments without relying on vendor servers. It was designed to address the lack of data control and limited model choice in existing AI assistant services, and is released under the Apache 2.0 license.

Core Structure and Features

• Separation of Bots and Computers: Bots are entities with conversations, memory, and routines, while computers are isolated execution environments (such as browsers and terminals).
• Support for Diverse Execution Environments: Remote sandboxes such as local Docker, E2B, Daytona, and Box can be connected and used via API keys.
• Team-Level Collaboration: Multiple bots can have their own computers or share common computers, and work delegation between bots is possible.
• Korean Language Support: Both the web UI and desktop app provide a Korean interface.

Tech Stack and Installation

It is based on a TypeScript monorepo using React 19, Hono, PostgreSQL, Prisma, etc. Installation requires Docker Engine and the Compose plugin, and it can be easily deployed via published container images. Currently in beta, it is suitable for technical teams capable of managing their own self-hosting infrastructure.
