Studio is now available to everyone

ElevenLabs has opened up Studio to all users. Studio is a longform text-to-audio editor for creators and storytellers, usable for producing audiobooks, voiceovers, articles, and podcasts.

The tool was first launched in 2023 under the name Projects, and at the time it was only available to paid subscribers. Since then, various features and improvements have been added, and now anyone on any plan can try Studio.

The usage limits are also clearly defined.

• Free users: Can create, edit, and export up to 3 projects in Studio
• Paid subscribers: No limit on the number of projects

Key recently added features were also introduced.

• Pacing control: From the menu bar, you can insert pauses ranging from 0.1 seconds to 3 seconds to adjust the pace of speech.
• Auto-assignment of voices: When you import an audiobook or script with multiple characters, it automatically assigns a different voice to each character.
• GenFM in Studio: Just by uploading a document or importing a URL, you can create a Host-and-Guest conversational podcast, or generate a Host-only bulletin format. All generated results are editable.

Through Studio, ElevenLabs is expanding its features toward quickly turning long-form text content into audio, while reducing the time needed for multi-character direction and editing.
