The next-generation AWS Resilience Hub provides a structured way for SREs (Site Reliability Engineers) and development teams to align resilience policies and demonstrate compliance through testing.

The key features of this update are as follows:

• Resilience policy: You can compose modular policies by combining required requirements such as SLOs, multi-AZ, and multi-Region disaster recovery (DR).
• Business-level understanding: Builds an application model through key user paths directly tied to business outcomes, and automatically generates a topology showing the connections between resources.
• AI failure mode assessments: Leverages generative AI to compare services against the AWS Well-Architected framework and AWS Resilience Analysis Framework, identifying potential failure modes and providing actionable recommendations.
• Dependency discovery assessment: Automatically finds hidden dependencies, such as unexpected cross-region calls or third-party endpoints, through DNS query log analysis.

It also integrates with AWS Organizations, enabling assessment and reporting of enterprise-wide resilience status from a single management account, allowing for efficient management even at large scale.
