The Gap in Mac-Only Tools

Built WhereMyTokens for people who use Claude Code heavily on Windows desktops.

The explanation is that while Mac has several usage trackers and tray monitors, there were almost no usable tools for Windows, so it was built from scratch.

The main features are as follows.

• Token count, cost, and status display per active session
• 5-hour / weekly rate limit progress and reset countdown
• Context window usage warning colors per session
• Breakdown of tool usage such as Read / Edit / Bash
• Analysis of token usage destinations such as Thinking, Response, Git, Build, Search
• Measurement of git-based commit count, net changed lines, and Claude ROI ($/1K lines added)

On the privacy side, it emphasizes that there is no external transmission since it reads ~/.claude/projects/*.jsonl directly and locally.

Also, it's registered as a Claude Code statusLine plugin, allowing real-time data viewing without polling, and it's stated that it has been updated up to v1.7 within 2 weeks of launch.
