Claude Code Support for Team and Enterprise Plans

Anthropic has introduced a premium seat for Team and Enterprise customers. This allows users to combine the Claude app and Claude Code, a powerful coding agent, into a single subscription.

Developers can collaborate with AI throughout the development lifecycle, designing architecture through conversation with Claude and immediately implementing code using Claude Code in the terminal. Altana, an actual customer, reported that development speed improved by 2 to 10 times after adopting Claude Code.

Powerful control features for administrators have also been added:

• Self-service seat management: Seat assignment and user provisioning through the admin panel
• Granular spend controls: Predictable cost management through spend limits set at the organization and individual level
• Usage analytics: Detailed metrics such as lines of code accepted and suggestion acceptance rate
• Managed policy settings: Policy enforcement including tool permissions, file access restrictions, and MCP server configuration

In addition, the new Compliance API gives enterprises real-time programmatic access to usage data and content. This enables the construction of continuous monitoring and automated policy enforcement systems for regulatory compliance.
